Happy 2012!

Hey Everybody!
I am so happy to announce the new and improved Y've Kemp for 2012 that has a renewed sense of direction and purpose!
That sounds so exciting to me and I want to take 2012 to talk about it, be about it and express it all over the place so maybe I can inspire others to be about it with me.
This is not NOT I repeat NOT a New Years Resolution call, no not this time. This is a time for me to begin being about the business of being me and doing me and making sure that the decisions that I make going forward are being accomplished.
I have a couple of things I wanna take care of this year with EARNEST!

1. Purchase a home - Ok ok I know I should have been in one already but I am not certain where I want to call home permanently and when I do make that decision I BETTER BE THE RIGHT ONE! Hence my choice to remain in my three bedroom spot until I decide where I want to be.

2. Clean up my credit to get ready for the big purchase. - It might not be as bad as I think it is but I am about to pull my credit reports and certainly find out. If there is anything that needs cleaning up for sure I need to clean it up.

3. I want to get my money straight this year - I want to begin my "Ecclesiastes Project" - We will get into that later on but I hope that you all will join me in this effort to have more than one stream of income. This will entail a ton of different things from health and life insurance and other things to protect me as I am single and heading to the big MID FORTIES oooooooo! lol

4. Get my second eldest off to college without a hitch - And I hope I don't cry that hard when we move her to her dorms.

5. Start taking care of myself - This is not about weight loss. This is about taking care of the inner man and the outer man. My spirit man needs to be taken care of and my physical man needs to be taken care of. I can tell the difference in my older body as opposed to how I felt say what five years ago? Hey two years ago. There is a difference and its time for me to not so much slow the aging process but take care of me as it is happening so that I am healthy and in shape for what is to come this year.

6. Increase my career options - Now that may not mean leaving my current job. Oh my we haven't talked in a while have we? I left my work at home job and decided to upgrade my life for something that gives me joy! Whoo hooo! I love my job. It so challenging and a mega MAJOR learning experience that I would not have gotten anywhere else in the WORLD. I am grateful for this trust and I am certain that where I am right now is moving me toward something bigger. Trust me I know what it is. I am just amazed at how the Universe/God is moving to give me what I asked for!

7. Find new friends! - I am single yes but not dead. I am single but choose not to make my job nor my children the only thing I do. So I am putting out there that this is the year that I get out there and date a little. Find a friend or two and enjoy the company of gentlemen. Now don't hate or call me pitiful I want what I want that's it. I am GOING to get married soon so ..there it is.

Ok guys here we go! I going to have some fun with this .....COME ON lets walk into 2012 boldy!

See you on the other side!

Entire Deadwood Series On Sale!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of HBOseries. All opinions are 100% mine.

The best way to bring in any weekend is with Gunsmoke early Saturday morning  with the smell of bacon and eggs in in the kitchen. Gunsmoke was followed by Bonanza and then the afternoon would begin with shopping in town and then back home for another round of Westerns.

I still love to have a good black and white Western television run on the weekends and now I can add to that with the entire collection of HBO's Deadwood series! The Gold Box Deadwood edition is available at Amazon for today only at 59% off the regular price!

You can't beat that kind of savings when you know the entire series will be yours to add to the favorite  Westerns you have. I am partial to black and white shows but totally enjoy the vivid color and style of the show. Not to mention Timothy Olyphant is one of the actors in the series and very easy on the eyes.

If you have heard the buzz about Deadwood now is the time to find out for yourself why it won 7 Emmy awards and a Golden Globe. This discount is only available Thursday Feb. 3, 2011 so hurry and take advantage of the savings TODAY!

Are You Still On Point?

So here we are one month down into the new year. I thought this would be good time to find out how you are doing.?
I am gong to make this simple and sweet.
Pull your copy of your New Year's resolution out and take a look at it. Well that's if you have a copy if not go ahead and do that now.
Since we are already into the second month of the year it might not be a bad idea to assess where you are in terms of your goals that you set at beginning of the year.
I wanted to pull mine out this early because I want to make sure that I remain on point as much as possible and not be disappointed that come the end of the year I am no where near where I want to be.
So go ahead and take a look at your list. I'm looking at mine right now. I have six things that I want to make sure get done before the end of the year.
All of these things are going to take steps to accomplish and so I am looking at this list to see how far I have come.
Oh great something else that I have accomplished! I am on task so far and that is a good thing!
I am also seeing how one goal on my list once it is accomplished will actually materialize about three other things on my list.
So here is my thought on that.
It's time for me to focus on the main project that will affect the other three on my list and be done by the time the end of the year comes.
So ask yourself this question?
Are you on point? If no why not? What can you do different to make that list you wrote out at the end of last year move forward?
I'm not going to tell you that I'm going to make another list but I am. This time its a task list. Let me tell you about Google Docs. When you go in a create your email address you have access to Google Docs which is an online office I can access anywhere. In my little virtual office there is a task link that when you click on it you can begin a task for the day. I use this to make sure I stay on point to my goal on my list that is keeping me on track to making my resolution real.
Of course you can use what you want to get there what ever that is for you. But make sure you get there.
